The BS-VI compliant version of Hero Maestro Edge 125 has been launched at INR 67,950 (alloy wheel with drum brake), INR 70,150 (alloy wheel with disc brake) and INR 70,650 (alloy wheel with disc brake and a unique colour option), (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new BS6-compliant 124.6 cc, air-cooled and fuel-injected engine that the Maestro Edge shares with Hero's Destini 125 makes 9hp at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm at 5,500rpm.
Suspension duties are carried out by a telescopic fork at the front and a single spring at the rear while braking is handled by a 190 mm disc at the front. The scooter features sharp and sporty styling and is targeted at younger audiences. The Hero Maestro Edge gets a mix of digital and analogue instrumentation and a Prismatic Purple paint scheme which changes its sheen depending on the amount of light falling on the body.
